Content Strategy Startup Internship at Lift Ventures in San Francisco

Lift Ventures is a San Francisco-based company that builds and scales innovative, data-driven consumer web properties. We are not your typical VC fund or incubator, but a startup studio that funds and manages our own portfolio of websites that reach millions of users each month.

Over the past few years, our team has developed a proprietary research methodology that helps us discover untapped opportunities in a variety of target markets. We utilize these insights to iterate rapidly and build category-leading websites. The sites in our portfolio are topically diverse but all are established or emerging leaders in their respective niches, including an attractions/activities search engine, an online study guide provider, and a shopping recommendation engine. We are profitable and growing rapidly, with plans this year to launch businesses in new verticals while continuing to improve and grow our existing portfolio.

We are looking to bring on a driven, creative, and analytical intern to work directly with our senior leadership team to help refine the content strategy for sites in our current portfolio while developing the strategy for new businesses that we plan to launch this year. This role will involve researching/evaluating the content of competitor websites, creating original content to test ideas, and managing content production projects across our portfolio.

Given the content focus of these projects, this role is a great fit for someone with a strong writing and/or product background who is interested in gaining experience at a high-growth startup.
