You’ll build the company infrastructure to handle the next doubling in revenue, keep us lean and efficient, and take us from 50 to 100+ employees. You’re the force multiplier that makes each of our teams even more effective.
This role has two core components:
1) Management: To succeed in this role, you need to be a world-class manager. Not only will you be managing your own remote team, you’ll be advising the Leadership team on how to run the entire company. We’ll be looking to you for recommendations on how we can communicate better, how we should give feedback to each other, how we should set core goals, what we should expect from new managers, and how we can keep our teams aligned.
2) Systems: For each stage of our company’s growth, we’ll need to adopt new organizational systems to support us. You’ll be leading the evolution and adoption of those systems. Our internal systems will be your responsibility. It’s up to you to give us just enough structure so all of our employees can do their life’s work while also having enough flexibility so we can move quickly.
You’ll leverage your skills in management and systems to help grow the company. And you’ll need to be proactive in doing so. In most cases, you won’t be given specific projects to execute on. You’ll need to find the biggest opportunities, get buy-in, execute, and close the loop by communicating your successes.
